Our Strategy

Gencon’s original digital strategy incorporated touchpoints across a variety of platforms. Awareness, consideration and conversion are all key parts of the customer journey for eCommerce businesses, and we made sure to craft an approach that covered each part of the buyer funnel.

A Google Shopping and Search PPC campaign targeted users searching for Gencon’s keywords, whilst an SEO strategy took in the scope of the brand’s performance online, outlining activity that covered on-page elements, technical optimisation, content marketing and link building.

Working to improve Gencon’s social media engagement, we ran a full tracking review and setup of CAPI. We took a data-led approach to restructure their existing paid campaigns and creating new ones, while our organic social media shifted its focus from sales to community building and management. We did this through an added emphasis on user-generated content and by setting up a community page on Facebook that capitalised on their brand loyalty.

Peaky Social’s Team worked to create redesigned social media templates, including high-quality video assets, that gave their social platforms a more cohesive feel whilst tapping into dog lovers’ preferences and improving their brand awareness. Focusing on Instagram the team combined visual appeal with ease of purchase to help improve social media engagement and sales together.
