Hall for Cornwall approached Peaky Digital with the goal of boosting ticket sales and enhancing brand awareness for their lineup of shows. They were looking to utilise Google Ads to target niche audiences throughout Cornwall, with the ultimate goal of increasing their online sales.

  1. Building brand awareness – In 2021 after securing funding for a major refurbishment, Hall for Cornwall reopened its doors following nearly two years of closure. The challenge is now to reignite the local community’s engagement and build awareness within the county.
  2. Competitive Landscape –  With other established theatres in the local area, Hall for Cornwall wanted to attract the local community through the doors once more and show why they should be the top choice for the theatre in Cornwall.
  3. Targeting niche audiences –  With audience pools in more remote locations throughout Cornwall, HFC were keen to tap into these demographics to increase sales and engagement within those areas.

Our Strategy

Our initial focus centred around two campaigns: “Greatest Days” and “Peter Pan.” Through Paid Search campaigns, we targeted various towns in Cornwall to grow online ticket sales for the shows.

By using a combination of display and search campaigns, we utilised creatives to capture the attention of local audiences. The three-month campaign drove over 170 individual bookings and attracted over 11,500 unique site visitors.
