The Challenge
After a site migration in 2021, Sewing Direct needed some help optimising their on-site content to encourage page views and new transactions across the site. As the Peaky team had already been helping them achieve great results on their previous site, we had plenty of ideas about how to get the ball rolling.
Our Strategy
Our SEO team closely monitored the effect the site migration had had on their transactions and the number of website visitors, and came up with an SEO strategy that would begin to boost their standing and aim to improve on where they stood previously. Site migrations can be tricky for SEO; performance dips are all too common, so we wanted to mitigate this as much as possible.
In addition to crucial error fixes, the SEO strategy included content-based optimisations such as optimisations of landing pages and blogs, as well as new content blocks to add to the website in order to boost the visibility of their priority keywords. We also conducted keyword research to find helpful ranking keywords that could be used to amplify the site across search engines based on key terms.
Once our strategies had been created and approved it was time to implement them across the website.
The Results
Using our in-depth SEO strategy, focusing on both content and technical SEO, we helped Sewing Direct increase its website's ranking and improve the rate of transactions achieved through search. The results went above and beyond expectations.
