Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

About Services & Expertise

What services does Peaky Digital offer?
As a multi-service agency, we work with clients across a variety of channels. We offer SEO, Paid Media (including TikTok, Google Ads, Microsoft and Meta Ads) and multi-channel digital marketing strategy focused on performance, measurable growth and long-term results. We also offer consulting services and training across a wealth of subjects.

What’s the difference between SEO and PPC?
SEO is about making improvements to the content and technical side of your website so it appears naturally in Google’s search results over time. You don’t pay for each click, but it takes consistency and patience to build up visibility.

Google Ads is paid advertising, enabling you to appear at the top of search results almost instantly, but you pay each time someone clicks.

Which paid media platforms do you manage?
We have extensive experience managing performance-driven, paid campaigns across Meta, Google, Microsoft and TikTok. We can also support with account setup, training or consultancy to help your internal team build confidence and capability.

Do you offer local SEO for businesses targeting specific areas?
Yes, local SEO often forms an important part of our wider SEO strategies. We use geographic optimisation (GEO) techniques to help businesses improve visibility in specific locations, whether that’s targeting a single town, a regional audience or multiple markets. This includes location-focused content, technical optimisation, local listings and authority-building activity to help drive more relevant traffic and enquiries from your priority areas.

How do you approach B2B vs B2C marketing campaigns?
We approach every partnership in a bespoke way. We take the time to really understand your goals, challenges, and where you’d most value support, then apply our commercial insight and channel expertise to build a strategy that’s tailored specifically to you, whether B2B or B2C.

Process & Expectations

How long does SEO take to show results?
This can vary depending on how ambitious the strategy is, how quickly new content is added, and how competitive your industry is. Typically, we’d expect to see meaningful results within 6–12 months. SEO is very much a long-term investment, not a quick fix, but when done well, it delivers sustainable growth over time.

What does an SEO audit contain?
Our audits are designed to identify opportunities to improve search visibility, traffic quality and commercial performance, not just rankings. We assess the technical health of your site to identify quick wins as well as longer-term opportunities. We’ll also evaluate your content to uncover gaps that could be limiting your search presence. Depending on the depth of the audit, we may also analyse competitor activity to highlight further opportunities. All findings are presented in a clear deck, which we walk you through, ending with a prioritised roadmap of recommendations.

How do you measure campaign success?
As a performance marketing agency, we start every partnership by defining what “good” looks like and focusing on metrics that directly impact your business, from lead quality and revenue to cost efficiency and long-term digital growth. This way, reporting always stays focused on meaningful outcomes.

What’s the onboarding process like with Peaky Digital?
Our onboarding process is structured but collaborative. We start with a discovery session to really understand your goals, challenges, and current performance. It’s also a chance for you to get to know the team you’ll be working with. From there, we’ll define KPIs together before getting stuck into audits and shaping your strategy. Once everything’s signed off, we’re away – with full visibility for you from day one.

Are there minimum contract terms or flexible options?
We typically begin with a three-month initial agreement. This gives us the space to really understand your business, build traction and start seeing meaningful progress. After that, it moves onto a monthly rolling basis, keeping things flexible while maintaining consistency in the work we’re doing together.

Do you use AI to create content?

We utilise AI to support research and idea generation, but all content is reviewed, refined and shaped by our team to ensure quality, originality and alignment with search best practice. We prioritise value-led, human-first content that builds long-term authority. Utilising AI in this way allows us to focus on the strategy for you.

Pricing & Client Engagement

How are your services priced?
Our approach is always results-focused, ensuring your digital marketing investment is working as efficiently as possible. All of our partnerships start with a conversation to understand your business, goals and budget. From there, we create a bespoke proposal designed to make the most effective use of your investment while working towards your priorities. That might mean phasing activity rather than tackling everything at once, but we’ll always guide you on where to spend to have the greatest impact and how we can drive meaningful ROI.

Do you work with businesses of all sizes?
Yes, whether you’re a sole trader or part of a 100-strong team, we’d love to work with you. Our support is always tailored around your goals, skills gaps and challenges, so you get the level of partnership that best fits your business.

Can you work with our existing team?
Yes, we want to become part of your team – not a supplier. We’ll work with existing marketing managers, content creators and copywriters to implement a growth strategy that we can all have a sense of ownership over and work together on.

Extras

Do you offer organic social media or email marketing?

While our core expertise is in paid media, SEO and performance marketing strategy, we do have experience across organic social, email and content marketing. Where deeper specialist support is needed, we collaborate with trusted partner agencies to ensure you get best-in-class delivery while keeping strategy aligned.

Will I have a dedicated account manager?

Yes, all of our clients have a dedicated point of contact. Depending on the scope and complexity of your activity, this may be a strategic account lead supported by channel specialists, or direct access to the specialists managing your campaigns. Either way, you’ll always have clear communication, consistent support and full visibility of performance.

Do you work nationwide or locally?

We do both. From local Cornish businesses to national brands and international companies, our team works across a wide range of markets. Being based in Cornwall doesn’t limit our reach;  it just means you’ve got a great excuse to come and see us by the coast if you fancy a face-to-face.
