CASE STUDY

THE CHALLENGE:

A trusted mortgage and insurer broker based in Surrey, Hawke FS approached us for an overhaul of their digital footprint – developing a new website and launching their PPC and SEO marketing campaigns to grow their visibility online.

THE STRATEGY:

We conducted in-depth keyword research to highlight long and short-tail search terms for ways that users may look for broker services. This research acted as a blueprint for both the PPC and SEO strategy.

Our content team produced rich unique meta descriptions to resolve any duplicate issues. After this was accomplished, we turned our focus to optimising category pages with industry-leading practices. We then expanded this to focus creating new engaging content for the website. Our content strategists worked on creating editorial content for the company’s blog and planning editorial pieces that we pitched to external sites for placement. Our outreach specialists worked exhaustively to get high domain authority relationships with other sites to earn the company quality backlinks and increase online visibility.

WEBSITE DEVELOPMENT:

It was important to us to create a website that communicated the core values of Hawke – trust, transparency and expertise. The sleek new design allowed users to navigate between Hawke’s products with ease and we utilised the brand’s key palette throughout. In an effort to draw in users with free, engaging information, we built the functionality for a stamp duty calculator – a landing page which is now one of the main entrances for users to the site. 

PPC

We created a granular PPC account layout, targeting campaigns by each individual product. We focussed on audiences including self-employed users, first time buyers and second time buyers. A campaign was also created to draw in users to the free Stamp Duty calculator to drive targeted traffic to the site.

SEO

After performing a website review we created a comprehensive SEO strategy that included an aggressive keyword acquisition strategy. The focus of this was building out  the landing pages around the core service offerings and making technical website optimisations – working through errors that were impacting performance.
