ETHNIC MEDIA AWARDS SEO CASE STUDY

THE CHALLENGE:

The Ethnic Media Awards is a new flagship awards programme for minority ethnic diversity in the journalism and media profession. The founders of the Awards approached us to help them create the copy for their website that would attract entrants and sponsors, impress stakeholders and create a buzz within the industry. They wanted to create a strong brand identity around their mission – to promote and reward outstanding achievement in the media and entertainment industry.

THE STRATEGY:​

Awards are a saturated industry, so our strategy was tailored to help the Ethnic Media Awards differentiate themselves. We worked to create a striking brand identity and tone of voice that focused on rewarding championing rising talent within the industry. We created a bespoke brand blueprint – defining the organisation’s values of diversity, transparency and passion to inform all future communications.

Working closely with the Award’s founder, we mapped the key audiences and themes to create a robust, sep-optimised sitemap that included all the key landing pages for the website. We created engaging copy for all the Award’s key audiences: entrants, employers within the media industry, business sponsors, charity partnerships, external stakeholders, news publications and more.
