THE CHALLENGE:

Desire Kicks approached Peaky Digital to manage their Facebook advertising and help them achieve a larger industry following, as well as expanding their sales overseas in countries including Germany, Sweden and Canada. The company wanted to explore more advanced targeting which they were unable to do in-house, and also to build on their data-driven audiences.

THE STRATEGY:

Our creatives got to work launching three initial campaigns, each one targeting a highlighted product category. We split-tested a variety of attributes within the ad sets including:

  • Placement – the difference in performance between Facebook and Instagram
  • Demographics – looking at split-testing ages across a female demographic
  • Interests – split testing interests and topics to define the most effective audience for the campaign
  • Ad format – carousel adverts tested against static images

Adcopy and creative were key for this campaign. It was vital to make sure each advert was eye-catching and attractive, appealing to the attention of our target audience. That meant fun content, and plenty of emojis!
