THE CHALLENGE:

BubbleIT approached Peaky Digital to help them strategically utilise digital marketing activities to boost enquiries to their website. After initially desiring to use PPC as a channel, our analysis led us to recommend the client instead investing in SEO to achieve a stronger ROI.

 

THE STRATEGY:

After a supportive onboarding process, we carried out a full SEO technical assessment which allowed us to uncover common SEO errors, such as broken links and indexing issues. We also found that many of the website’s pages contained meta information that was either not adhering to best practices or non-existent.

In reworking any duplicate content, we helped to increase the number of pages that Google indexed. In addition, implementing specific meta information also increased indexed pages and helped to improve each page’s click-through-rate.

We consulted with BubbleIT about potential optimisations to the website we could make to increase user experience, using heatmapping tools like Hotjar to analyse visitor behaviour. From this insight, we gave actionable recommendations that BubbleIT could implement.

When analysing website traffic, we noticed that there wasn’t any activity running to attract visitors back to the website. As a result we created a Google remarketing campaign to boost conversions from previous website visitors.

In today’s market, many digital consultants will tell you that ‘content is king’. We created rich content and worked effectively to outreach in order to gain quality link acquisition and increase SEO. In the case of BubbleIT, we knew that we needed to increase the company’s link profile in order to increase its organic visibility. We put together a dedicated link acquisition plan and strategy to achieve this.

Creating compelling onsite content would help the company to acquire high-quality backlinks, so we worked with its internal team to create content ideas, and then created and published this content to the blog. This content was then promoted to writers who had written articles on similar topics. The results were outstanding, and we were able to garner high-quality backlinks and social signals to the blog. In addition, we included internal links to key category pages within the blogs, which helped to boost these pages and achieve higher organic search positions.
